Hmmm.

I'm in the 60th hour of my 120-hour fast. No food, just liquid when I need it (juice and stuff included... don't think I'd be able to go water-only, since I still need to keep my energy at a reasonable level for school). It's going surprisingly well... I feel fine! Don't know why I started, but I just decided to do it two and a half days ago. Needed some way to focus my energy and get serious thinking and praying and Bible reading and work done. I'm not sure why I thought this was the way to go, but here I am. And it really does make one more contemplative and focused. Time moves more... clearly. You should try it. I've got good mind to make this a regular thing.

I have TONS of work still undone. Gotta write a paper on American foreign policy and Imperialism. But it can wait till tomorrow.

Good night!

Yikes, that be a longish fast

I don't think I've ever gone longer than 120 hours.
Are you taking milk too?

Focus is all well and good, but if you feel yourself getting weak, let the fast wind down early. You have to work during this fast, fater lal.

It's completely self-determined, right? Not by agreenment with anyone else?

I will definitely try it sometime, but not for 120 hours the first time. I donut think I've ever gone more than 24 hours without taking food. But then, I'm a hobbit, so wot ya gonna do??

Mmmmm, I have to agree. 5 days seems a bit long. You may have trouble actually eating properly again. One day every month is the accepted norm for good health. And that without undue exertion.
How about soup? It has the nutrients, and doesn't make you feel sluggish like 'real' food does.

Bhaa. Jsut Google AFT and copy one of M. O'Neill's rants. They'll never find out.

Goond luck on the fasting! I think that clearing yourself for such work is awesome. From personal experience, though, I'd avoid too much tea, as it always seemed to crash my blood sugar.

Hope you are keeping well.
