Heh, I was rather confused at your post because I've always had the opposite frustration. I used to hate having to turn a windows machine back on to ask it to eject floppies, or still do to eject CDs. Every mac I've ever used has had a neat little hole designed for pushing a paper-clip (or naything else you can fit in) into to manually eject floppies and CDs nay time, even in a power cut.

hmmm, no... mine ain't got no hole.

*inspects machine*

nope.

*mourns the loss of manual ejection*

*sob*

loss of manual ejection

For some reason I read that as loss of manual erection. Then I snickered like an idiot for ten minutes.

Yeah...I know.

I knew someone would.

Then I snickered like an idiot for ten minutes.
I spent a couple of minutes rereading the sentance because I had this feeling it should say "premature".

Yeah...I know.
Right there with ya.

bingz bingz here

and now, ironically, windows computers HAVE a hole to poke the disc out. Or at least u can do it with a paperclip and sort of jab around the drive... Joy's laptop cd drive is this soft spongey thing....
