So I sang BVs at the Asian service yesterday. It went well, considering that I'm recovering from laryngitis and hadn't sung full voice for about two weeks. And I learned a whole bunch of new words in Bahasa Indonesia... 'heresy', 'fart', 'coward', 'liar', 'eat', 'anyhow', 'nonsense', 'beautiful', 'Holy Spirit', and 'sleep'. Yeah, the Indonesian crowd is really fun to hang out with - I get to learn a new language! And if you know me, you'll know that I love languages and learning how to say useful things like "I'm not a coffeecake." (I can say that in Finnish, amongst other useful statements such as "I'm not a banana" and "Don't die".) Yesssss... world domination for me!!

And this afternoon I finally got around to cleaning our disgusting deflated blow-up pool that had been sitting in a lump in the corner of our yard for like a month. I re-inflated it, scrubbed off the mold and gunk, and with Lem's help and a roll of cheap duct tape, drained it (there was water inside the air pockets) and fixed the leak. How handy am I?

And did I mention I bought a new fridge? Exciting times we're living in.

And now for some memage:

You Are Austin

A little bit country, a little bit rock and roll.
You're totally weird and very proud of it.
Artistic and freaky, you still seem to fit in... in your own strange way.

Famous Austin residents: Lance Armstrong, Sandra Bullock, Andy Roddick

And now for a sentence in Indonesian:
Saya mau tidur.
