In an effort to speed up my PC to Mac transition (which was moving at an awfully slow pace due to the fact that I was using a 128MB thumbdrive) I decided to burn a CD of my MP3s. This was going great until I stuck the CD into my Powerbook and it DIDN'T RECOGNIZE ANYTHING.

Now, this is what I HATE about the whole Mac design. Everything's so pretty and integrated that if Finder doesn't acknowledge that there's a CD in the drive, there basically is NO WAY of getting the CD out, unlike on a PC where you can just poke the external button on the drive. There ain't no buttons. There ain't no way to get the stupid thing out of the machine.

Don't tell me I have to go back to the stupid uni co-op again...

Disregard the last post. Obviously I overlooked that nifty little "Eject" button on me keyboard....

It still won't recognize the CD though. Bha.
