The Korean War

...was the topic of today's midterm-that-was-waaaay-past-mid-term. We were supposed to have a lecture first, but the poor lecturer had completely lost her voice and so bumped the test up an hour, canceled the lecture, and canceled afternoon classes as well! I'd never seen a class so giggly-happy for a test.

And so I got home early today. Yay!

It's been raining for about 36 hours now. I like rain. It's nice. I used to want to name my daughter Raine because it has a pretty Thai equivalent and it's quite a pretty name in itself, but then I realized that the poor child would probably be teased with stuff like "Raine, Raine, go away..." so I decided against it.

I watched a re-run of MacGyver this afternoon. He didn't do anything cool... just mixed some drain cleaner and some other chemical to make fake blood. Oh yeah, there was a flashback about how he made a cart-thing out of bicycle parts to carry his wounded friend to the road, but that really annoyed me. It took so long, it would've been better if he'd just ridden his bicycle to get help... then maybe his friend would've LIVED. Sheesh.

Anyway. I'm going to take a nap.
